First off, congratulations on the arrival of your newest member of your family! I want to hear ALL about her when you have the time. Reading your post about Easter jolted me to think back on all of the Easter activities that I remember doing growing up. I do NOT remember us having the Hot Cross Buns; but my Mom had them on occasion back in her day. My Aunt used to make a type of Easter Bread; I "helped" her make it one year. I remember doing coloring pages and Easter cut out sugar cookies. We also used to do Easter Resurrection Eggs as well that told the Easter Story. We did a lot of the same traditions when the Grandkids all came along. It's only been in the last couple of years that we HAVEN'T done any of the regular Easter traditions due to the Grandkids going in 1,000 different directions.
Hi Bethany! Oh those are such fun Easter traditions you mentioned! It sounds like you and your family had a lot of fun celebrating. Me and my kids look forward to this time each year so even though it’s a busy season with a new baby, I’m still looking forward to doing many of these activities. Thanks for sharing those ideas!
